I started working as an Industrial Designer in 2008. My specialty in 3D graphics along with my digital design savvy led me into the developing in world wide web.
I have an affinity with food and wine which led me to work as a Sommelier in some of Sydney’s finest restaurants while keeping up the digital end for some of these establishments in-house.
Through this I developed an understanding that communication is key to business. I build my soft skills seeing a huge importance in working as a team, listening and leading. The digital world is expanding…. fast. It is an exciting place to be. Through my academic pursuit of Software Engineering I have fine tuned my technical knowledge. It is through the marriage of the technical and soft skills I am uniquely equipped to solve business problems in the digital, data driven world.
In managing media accounts on a tight budget, being creative with the tools at hand while thinking on your feet is imperative. This led me to build and deploy scripting tools for engagement, scheduling and monitoring of social media accounts. this has increased exposure to brands while assisting in my management of multiple accounts.
I have helped build an online presence for new a and established businesses. I have helped re-brand, managing social media and database management. These have spanned the hospitality industry and online retail.
From the scripting, designing and managing comes the data. Being able to gather data from multipole sources, analyse and interpret that data to implement engaging strategy to increase sales is an enduring battle. I have loved seeing the success that has come from implementing strategy based on good analysis of data.
